Finding Home: A piano recital supporting refugees

Emma Galbraith, age 16, presents a piano recital of music by Bela Bartók, Suad Bushnaq, Fréderic Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Miklós Rozsa and Regina Spektor. All of these composers were or are in exile from their homeland and with this recital, called “Finding Home,” Emma wishes to raise voluntary donations to benefit the refugee resettlement program at Caritas of Austin. The recital will be free and open to the public, and voluntary donations will be accepted at the recital or via this page.

Emma is a rising junior at the Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School. This recital marks her 10th year of piano studies with Dr. Jim James.
