Faith & Community Food Drive

In the past three years, the Faith and Community Food Drive has collected over 55,000 pounds of food from over 50 congregations and organizations throughout the Austin area.  By collecting canned goods, hygiene items, and non-perishable food you will build a sense of community within your own congregation or organization, strengthen existing relationships and make a tangible difference in the Austin community by helping Caritas feed families and individuals struggling to make ends meet. 

Our goal is to collect 20,000 pounds to stock the food pantry through the summer.  We will provide grocery bags to collect food items as well as flyers to publicize this important event.  We ask that you provide a coordinator for your congregation or organization.
